Microsoft’s latest console, the Xbox Series X is finally here. The organised Xbox fans among us pre-ordered and have been enjoying their super-powerful console for two weeks. Whilst the specs are impressive and the design is sleek, gamers will be gamers and the games are central.

Whilst there are over 130 games, plus all the backward compatible games to enjoy, many are wondering which games push the new consoles and take advantage of its impressive hardware.

Assassin’s Creed is an open-world RPG game with stealth elements. The series continues with Valhalla after Origins and Odyssey. With Valhalla, the game series takes us into the world of the Vikings. As in the last two games, many locations, missions to be discovered in Valhalla and Ubisoft’s biggest open-world await us. Ubisoft has especially attached great importance to details. So this made Assassin’s Creed Valhalla like a next-gen game. Also, It is possible to play 4K 60 fps on Xbox Series X.

Forza Horizon is an open-world racing game made by Playground Games in 2018. Also known as Xbox’s best racing game franchise. It was the flagship of the Xbox One in the racing games category. In next-gen Forza Horizon looks much better with the improvements made. It offers a 4K 60fps experience with reflections, shadows, and particle effects. Forza Horizon 4 will continue to be the flagship of the Xbox Series X in the racing games category in the next-gen.

Gears 5 

Gears 5 is one of the most important franchises of the Xbox. Could next-gen be without Gears of War? Absolutely NOT! 

The graphics of the game have been remade for the Xbox Series X. If you haven’t played the Gears series before, you can enter the series with Gears 5. With its unique expression, it is possible to play 4K 60 fps in the next-gen. Also, with the 120 fps multiplayer mode, things will get a little bit hotter on the competitive side.
