But this game isn’t just visually stunning; it’s also a joy to play. The combat system is fantastic, allowing players to switch between different combat stances and fight bosses with devastating techniques. Upgrade your attacks, special moves, and characteristics of your choice, and unlock and assign impressive finishers. But the real kicker? The Ritual. This ancient tradition has unique artefacts with properties that define the rules of the fight. Dare to challenge your opponent to this game of dice before a fight, and the winner applies a consequence of their choice.

And that’s not all. Clash: Artefacts of Chaos is also unique because of its night-time gameplay. When the sun goes down, Pseudo’s dreams become fraught with danger. Formidable and ferocious creatures roam the dream version of Zenozoik, and it’s up to you to defeat them. There are two ways to enter this world – by resting at a camp or dying during the day. Travelling around Zenozoik under the stars is also a way to explore areas that can’t be accessed during the day, but beware – the dead of night is when greater numbers of more ferocious creatures emerge.
