Starting today, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be available on Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate. This latest instalment in the Call of Duty franchise offers a variety of experiences, from an intense single-player campaign to dynamic multiplayer modes and the series’ first open-world Zombies mode.
The Hunt for Makarov
Picking up immediately after the events of Modern Warfare II, players will join Captain Price, Ghost, and Task Force 141 as they continue their pursuit of ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov. The campaign promises a gripping narrative with far-reaching consequences in the Modern Warfare universe.
Multiplayer Modernized
Modern Warfare III’s multiplayer includes classic maps from the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2009), enhanced with modern gameplay improvements. Players can enjoy a range of maps and modes, including large-scale Invasion and Ground War maps. The game will also feature four seasons of post-launch content, ensuring a steady flow of new maps and updates.
Player progression has been revamped, with new and familiar Perks, Killstreaks, and Equipment to unlock. The game introduces After-Market Parts for further weapon customization. Additionally, players can carry forward much of their content and weapon progression from Modern Warfare II, making the transition to MWIII seamless.
Explore the Dark Aether
Modern Warfare III introduces the largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever. In this co-op PvE extraction mode, players will tackle hordes of zombies in the infested outskirts of Urzikstan during Operation: Deadbolt. Completing contracts, raiding strongholds, and exploring the map will increase the difficulty and rewards. Classic Zombies upgrades such as Perk-a-Colas, Ammo-Mods, and the Pack-a-Punch machine return, along with powerful Wonder Weapons.
Players will also face human enemies, as the mercenaries of Terminus Outcomes have established bases and brought elite Warlords into the fray. Special zombies and bosses add an extra layer of challenge and discovery.
