Crytek has unveiled the latest chapter in their acclaimed Hunt series: Hunt: Showdown 1896. Launching on August 15, 2024, this new instalment brings players from the familiar Bayou backwaters to the rugged terrain of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. Available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, this release promises a host of exciting new features and enhancements.

A New Map: Mammon’s Gulch

The first map of Hunt: Showdown 1896, Mammon’s Gulch, introduces players to a vast and detailed new biome. Set against the backdrop of Colorado’s majestic peaks, this map offers enhanced verticality and a variety of tactical vantage points. The lush forests and towering hilltops conceal mines and oil wells where corruption festers, adding a new layer of danger and intrigue to the game.
