In Crypt Custodian, players take on the role of Pluto, a cat who finds himself in the Afterlife’s grand palace after an untimely death. However, a less-than-stellar encounter with the Afterlife Guardian, Kendra, results in Pluto being sentenced to an eternity of janitorial duties. Now tasked with cleaning up the sprawling and diverse realms of the afterlife, Pluto must navigate a world filled with quirky characters, hidden secrets, and dangerous creatures, all while searching for a rumoured treasure that could potentially allow communication with the living.
