Shawn Porter now in “Undisputed”

Former two-time welterweight world champion Shawn Porter has been honoured with an induction into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame, a recognition that highlights his storied career from 2009 to 2021. Known for his relentless fighting style and high work rate, Porter’s legacy is cemented not only in the history of boxing but also in the upcoming video game Undisputed, set to launch on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 this October.

A Legendary Roster in “Undisputed”

Porter joins an illustrious lineup of boxing legends featured in Undisputed, the first major boxing video game in over a decade. Players will be able to step into the ring as some of the sport’s most iconic figures, including Roy Jones Jr., Sugar Ray Leonard, and Joe Louis, among others. The game aims to capture the essence of these fighters with detailed animations, authentic fighting styles, and the high-intensity action that boxing fans have come to love.

Honouring Boxing’s Rich History

The Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame, which inducted Porter, is dedicated to preserving the rich history of boxing in the state, celebrating the achievements of fighters who have left an indelible mark on the sport. The 12th Annual Induction Gala Weekend, held in Las Vegas on August 9-10, 2024, was a fitting tribute to Porter and other legendary figures.

Upcoming Release

Undisputed will officially release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on October 11, 2024, with the WBC Deluxe Edition available three days earlier on October 8. This highly anticipated title offers boxing enthusiasts the chance to relive classic matchups and create new rivalries, all while paying homage to the sport’s greatest athletes.
