Polish studios Memory Leak Games and Cleversan Games have brought their frantic delivery simulator CarGo! to Xbox consoles. After a successful PC launch in November 2024 that garnered positive player reviews, this chaotic arcade game is now available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, with PlayStation and Nintendo Switch versions planned for the coming months.
Delivery Against the Clock
CarGo! puts players in the driver’s seat of delivery vans tasked with completing various transportation challenges across the Carchipelago islands. The gameplay revolves around battling against tight time limits whilst navigating through unpredictable street chaos.
Presented in an isometric view with charming cartoon-style graphics, the game offers an arcade driving model that harkens back to classic arcade titles. While the controls are designed to be straightforward and accessible, mastering them to achieve delivery perfection presents a more substantial challenge.
Couch Co-op Chaos
One of the most appealing aspects of CarGo! appears to be its local cooperative multiplayer, supporting 2-4 players on a single screen. The developers emphasise that successful deliveries in co-op mode rely heavily on effective communication and teamwork between players.
This focus on collaborative chaos puts CarGo! in the same category as beloved multiplayer titles like Overcooked, Unrailed!, Moving Out, and PlateUp! – games known for testing friendships through frantic cooperation.
Multiple Platforms on the Horizon
While Xbox players can jump into the delivery mayhem right now, Ultimate Games S.A. is handling the development and publishing of CarGo! for additional platforms. PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch versions are planned for release in the coming months, expanding the reach of this arcade delivery simulator.
With its blend of simple controls, chaotic gameplay, and multiplayer focus, CarGo! looks set to deliver a fresh take on the cooperative arcade genre. Whether racing against the clock solo or coordinating deliveries with friends, the game promises plenty of hectic moments and unpredictable challenges.
